Bozeman, MT - Jan. 30, 2008 - Trakkers, LLC, the leading innovator in lead tracking equipment, recently delivered over 900 of their new “mi” handheld lead retrieval devices to an event held in Las Vegas, NV. This launch marked the inauguration of the anxiously awaited technology to the trade show industry.
The “mi” unit was unveiled to the industry in December at the IAEE Annual Meeting, and was met with enthusiasm by all parties. The unit, which has 3 built-in readers (barcode, RFID and magstripe), is a handheld, battery powered device with GPRS capability. The GPRS function was fully operable at the Las Vegas event, allowing exhibitors instant led retrieval via internet connection to Trakkers’ web portal, myZebi.com.
“With 3 built-in readers with the GPRS capability in a mobile unit, ‘mi’ offers users a lot of flexibility by eliminating the need for multiple readers for different media types at an event” said Harish Chander, Trakkers CEO. “There has never been a lead capture device like the ‘mi’.”
The “mi” proved extremely functional, with ease of operation using a dynamic, touch screen menu. The upscale technology and modern graphic interface proved very popular. With leads being sent wirelessly to www.myzebi.com, exhibitors were able to begin lead management instantly. At the recent event, approximately 500,000 leads were transmitted wirelessly to www.myzebi.com.

Trakkers Unveils “mi”, the Industry’s First hand-held Lead Capture Unit with integrated magnetic stripe, RFID and barcode readers with GPRS capability
Bozeman, MT – Sep. 6, 2007 – Trakkers, LLC, a leading provider of lead retrieval equipment to the trade show industry, announces the availability of the industry’s first hand-held, lightweight, battery operated unit with 3 different built-in readers to support magnetic cards, RFID technology, and both 2D and 1D barcodes. The “mi” offers users greater wireless flexibility by eliminating the need for multiple readers for different media types. This innovative device offers full GPRS capability enabling users to have real-time access to their leads.
The “mi” integrated barcode reader supports 1D (JAN, EAN, Code 39, EAN 128) and 2D (QR Code, PDF417, DataMartix) barcodes. The built-in 13.56 MHz RFID scanner transmits data from any ISO 15693 and ISO 14443 RFID tag. “mi’s” magnetic card reader can read triple track “IntelliHead”, with AGC (Automatic Gain Control) and wide range of card swipe speeds – from 3 ips to 100 ips (7 cm/s to 250 cm/s). “mi” also features quad-band GSM/EGPRS modem for real time connectivity so that captured leads are transmitted wirelessly to myzebi.com, Trakkers’ web portal, providing quick and easy lead retrieval and lead management.
